After Alice’s mother and father died, she and her brother Wilson were left in the care of an uncle. Though he tried, the children's uncle could not properly care for them. Alice and Wilson arrived at the Rafiki Village Uganda in September 2005. Alice is now a terrific basketball player who enjoys being on a team. Alice enjoys studying science subjects the most. She particularly enjoys learning about anatomy because it displays God's design, and she is interested in pursuing a career in medicine. She also likes to draw for relaxation and reads widely to increase her knowledge and understanding. Alice strives to submit to God's sovereignty and remember that He works all things for her good. She desires to be a useful vessel for Jesus Christ.
