Gritty
After both of Gritty's parents died, she arrived at Rafiki Village Malawi in 2007. She soon proved to be a bright girl and an excellent student who sets high standards for herself. She is beginning to think seriously about her future after Rafiki and sees the benefit of her education paying off. Gritty has come to know Jesus through God's Word, and she trusts Jesus because He will never abandon her. She has made a commitment to lead others to God by living according to God's standards.

Florence arrived at the Rafiki Village Rwanda in 2009.
Jennifer
Jennifer is one of three triplets. She and her sisters, Janet and Joanna, arrived at the Rafiki Village Ghana in 2002.
Mary
After the death of her parents, Mary and her sisters lived with their aunt.
Kalkidan
Kalkidan was abandoned at a very young age, so his elderly grandparents cared for him.
