Nealey April 2023

First of all I want to thank those of you who have joined in supporting me during the last three months. Your prayers and donations are greatly appreciated. Thanks to you I am well on my way to gathering enough support to begin my missionary journey.

I am writing this letter to inform my family and friends on the current status of my campaign to serve as a missionary in the country of Malawi in Africa. My last newsletter gave a brief explanation of the services I would be providing in the Rafiki Village in Malawi. There are still a few things that need to happen before I begin my journey. A work visa is necessary whenever one works in a foreign country. The Rafiki organization helped me apply and arranged to get the paperwork into the hands of the proper authorities. I am unsure of how long the process takes but the necessary paperwork is in and we are waiting for approval from the responsible authorities in Malawi. I also have a Field Security Seminar which is a final training that will take place in Lake George, Colorado at end of May. After these things take place, the only thing remaining will be the fulfilling of my campaign by my family and friends.

In my last letter I invited my family and friends to send me off like the church of Antioch sent Barnabas and Saul. Again I want to thank those of you who have taken up the campaign and supplied me with prayers, pledges, and donations. However I still have a ways to go before my campaign is fully funded, I am currently at 9% of the funding needed. Therefore I am asking more of you to join me in my campaign. I believe the Lord will supply my needs to complete this campaign. I have been praying for 400 people to pledge $10.30 a month for 1 year which is about $120.00 total. I know that plan does not work for everyone, so please remember that whatever you choose to give will be greatly appreciated. If you feel the Lord prompting you to donate to my campaign then please look at the following options.

Option one, using a credit card or e-check follow these steps to donate online.

  • Click on menu
  • Select support a missionary
  • Scroll down and select page 3, or type in my name in the search bar

My picture will pop up with an amount button underneath. You can enter any amount you wish and then follow the prompts to enter your credit card or bank account number. You may then select whether you want your donation to be recurring or one time only.

Option two is to donate by mail. Just send your one time or recurring donation through the mail.

Another way to support is to be a prayer partner. Thank you for your support. As Christians we are instructed to trust and obey the commandments of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Remember what He instructed us to do in Matthew 6:19-21 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth…but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven…For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
