“He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it” (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

There has been a change of plans! This will be the last newsletter I write to you from Florida. On August 31, I will be headed to the Rafiki Village Liberia to serve with the team there for a month or two while I wait for the borders to open in Ghana. Lord willing, I will complete my two-year commitment in Ghana once the airports open there. In the meantime, I will have the opportunity to serve in Liberia and work with more children, staff, and missionaries than I had originally planned! The school in Liberia will open back up soon, so I will be plenty busy.

Even though COVID-19 and country lock-downs have changed my plans, I am comforted to know that God never changes. He is faithful, and His plan for me cannot be thwarted. These are just some of the children I will have the blessing to work with in not one but two Rafiki Villages!

I want to thank you for continuing to pray for and support me. I have been waiting for the day I have a plane ticket to Africa, and you have been with me every step of the way. These next few weeks will be filled with many different emotions. As I finish my work at the Rafiki Home Office, pack, and say goodbye to many of you, will you please pray for me?

• Pray that the Lord will bring important details to mind as I pack and prepare.

• Pray I remember that because the Lord has called me, he will equip me for the work I will do.

• Pray for the children, staff, and missionaries at the Rafiki Villages in Ghana and Liberia. Pray we all know the Lord better as we study His Word together.

• Pray for Ghana’s airports to open soon!
