Rafiki Classical Academy Building Fund
Goal One:
90-Day Goal: Raise $1 Million by July 20, 2026
$613,333 raised to date
We are asking God to provide $1 million between April 20, 2026, and July 20, 2026. This will enable us to move forward with: 1) finalizing the installation of two modulars, 2) begin site works, and 3) complete the preliminary civil engineering and architectural drawings necessary for permitting. To date, we have raised $613,333 toward this goal.
Goal Two:
End-of-Year Goal: Raise $9.5 Million by December 31, 2026
By the end of the year, we are asking God for the remaining $9.5 million, which will enable us to have all the funds on hand for the construction of the school once all the approvals are made for permitting by Lake County. (Permitting approvals are expected November 2026.)
Why build a school?
Rafiki Classical Academy exists to minister, model, and mobilize.
- Minister: The Academy is the only classical Christian school in Lake County, Florida, ministering to children and families in this community.
- Model: Rafiki Classical Academy models the Rafiki Bible Study and Rafiki classical Christian curriculum for those who wish to start their own classical Christian schools in Florida and beyond.
- Mobilize: Moreover, this Academy provides a training ground for classical Christian teachers for Africa, America, and around the globe—mobilizing others to make disciples for Jesus Christ through daily Bible study and classical Christian education.
Rafiki Classical Academy is currently in its third year of operation and is achieving the above mission. The Academy’s enrollment is steadily growing as well as the surrounding Central Florida population. Rafiki Classical Academy meets at the Rafiki Foundation’s Home Office, but space is limited and the Academy needs a school building to continue growing and achieving the above goals.
Supporting the Work of the Rafiki Foundation
The new school building will not only allow the good work of Rafiki Classical Academy to continue, but it will also support the work of the Rafiki Foundation through training future missionaries and offering training in the Rafiki curriculum and Bible Study. The new 24,000 square-foot school building will be built on the back of the Rafiki Foundation’s Home Office
campus and will also include a meeting space sufficient to host 400 people. This will enable the Rafiki Foundation to hold its annual Enrichment conference at the Rafiki Home Office, as well as conduct regional training and conference events for the Rafiki Bible Study and classical Christian education.
We see Rafiki Classical Academy as the culmination of the overall mission and vision of the Rafiki Foundation.
