Music Dean
"Declare his glory among the nation, his marvelous works among all the peoples!" (Psalm 96:3)
The Rafiki Institute of Music (RIM) is an integral part of Rafiki's plan to bring Christian classical education to Africa.
The Rafiki Foundation operates Christian classical Pre-K through 12th grade schools and teacher training programs in each of our Villages in 10 African countries. Both our school and teacher training curricula include full-orbed music programs overseen by the RIM Dean, including music history, appreciation, theory, voice, and instrumental performance.
Village resident orphan children and impoverished children from the surrounding communities receive a world class Christian classical education in our established, well-equipped schools.
The teacher trainees receive a free three-year college education qualifying them as Christian classical educators, equipping them to transform education in Africa.
These postings are typically staffed by missionaries who commit to a minimum of one year on the field. Persons interested would have to assent to our statement of belief, our mission philosophy, and raise financial support.
