My Name is
Theresa

Theresa
Theresa was abandoned at seven months old by her mother at a shop in downtown Monrovia, Liberia. The shop owner took Theresa home, and she and her husband cared for her for a time. When they felt they could no longer care for her, they brought her to the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare office. Social workers contacted the Rafiki Foundation on her behalf, and Theresa arrived at the Rafiki Village in 2009. Theresa enjoys learning about Liberia in history class. She hopes to be an artist when she grows up, and she enjoys making projects in art class. Her favorite hymn is "O The Deep, Deep Love of Jesus" because it reminds her that Jesus loves her and calls her His own.
