Elijah

Elijah
Elijah was referred to Rafiki by an orphanage four hours away from the Village. He arrived at the Rafiki Village Kenya in October 2004. Elijah has a hearing impairment, and he was admitted into the Kuja secondary school for the deaf in western Kenya. The school is considered one of the best secondary schools for the deaf, and he is in class with some of the best deaf students from around the country. When he comes back to the Village, he especially enjoys morning and evening devotions. He continues to pray to understand more about God's love, mercy, and grace.
