Kropf July 2026
Greetings, friends and family!
We hope this letter finds you well. The first half of this year has been full, and we are grateful for all that God continues to do through the ministry of Rafiki.
In February and again in April, Lisa traveled to Africa, visiting each of the ten Rafiki Villages. These trips provided an opportunity to encourage our missionaries and national staff, spend time with the children and graduates, and witness firsthand the incredible ways God is continuing to work in their lives. During her most recent trip, Lisa was also able to visit several graduates in their student apartments. It was a special blessing to see where they are living, hear about their classes, and spend time praying with them.
One of the greatest joys has been watching our orphan high school graduates continue their education. Today, 250 Rafiki graduates are studying in colleges, universities, and vocational programs, preparing for careers in fields such as education, business, technology, healthcare, agriculture, and skilled trades. Since January, another thirty graduates have begun tertiary education, bringing us close to the highest number of Rafiki graduates we have ever supported at one time.
She is studying for a diploma in early childhood education.
Just as exciting is seeing graduates complete their studies and begin supporting themselves. Over the past year, more than seventy-five students finished their tertiary programs, and many have already found employment. Today, 166 Rafiki graduates are known to be working in a variety of professions, using the education and training they received to provide for themselves, serve their communities, and live out their faith. Each of these graduates is a reminder of God’s faithfulness and the lasting impact of your prayers and support.
She is studying tourism and hotel management.
The Childcare assistant and a graduate studying medical laboratory sciences.
The guidance counselor and a graduate in Rwanda.
Two graduates in Rwanda.
Visiting the room of three graduates.
Thank you for praying, giving, and partnering with us. Your support is helping us serve with Rafiki discipling many children throughout Africa. If you are in Florida, we would love to have you visit us and to give you a tour of the Rafiki Foundation Home Office.
