Baba
As a child, Baba was known as an energetic boy who loved a challenge. He thrived outdoors, enjoyed figuring out how things worked, and was always eager to test himself. But as he grew, his servant’s heart stood out even more than his energy.
Week after week, Baba volunteered to help at his church, carrying chairs back and forth from the caretaker’s house so everyone would have a place to sit. Church members noticed—not just the work he did, but the humble kindness with which he served.
As he continued to mature, Baba also became known for his honesty and faith. He asked thoughtful questions during devotions, prayed for specific needs, and trusted the truths he learned about God and his Word.
Today, Baba uses those same qualities to serve others.
Baba graduated from the Rafiki School and went on to pursue tertiary education. After completing training in computer network engineering, he secured a job with a chain of pharmacies.
He also serves as a valuable resource for Rafiki scholarship staff in Ghana, helping procure quality refurbished computers for new university scholarship students. When technical problems arise, Baba is often the one offering advice and helping find solutions.
Through his knowledge and willingness to help, he is expanding opportunities for the next generation of students. Across Africa, Rafiki graduates like Baba are using their skills to serve others and strengthen their communities.
