Wiedemann November 2021

And let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of his deeds in songs of joy!” (Psalm 107:22).

I am writing this letter with a huge smile, grateful heart, and joyful song! Please join me in thanking God for His healing touch and allowing me to return to Ghana! In fact, I could be there by the time you read this. I will offer some other reasons I am thankful for you as well.

Thankful for teachers who are grateful for their jobs.
“My goal is to develop the great talents in these students, and thank you for giving me the opportunity to do so. I will forever be grateful” Michael, our Technical Arts teacher.

Thankful for teachers who pray.
“We have never stopped praying for you! Much love to you. Stay blessed.” Primary teacher’s text to lift my spirits!

Our beautiful praying teachers at morning assembly

Thankful for teachers who love God’s Word.

Every day Sir Kingsley sends me a Bible verse!

Thankful for teachers who stand in the gap.

Kiley, Emmanuel, and Patricia—the team running the schools in my absence.

Thankful for students with a servant’s heart who show their love of God’s creation.

Moses and the beautiful flowers he tends in my garden while I am away.

Thankful for family!

My adorable grandson, Ivan, exploring nature in Tanzania.

My super-cool mom, now a great grandmother, and Little Evie!

Oh, I have so much to be thankful for including each of you! Your prayers, communications, hospitality, support, and love have been a tremendous blessing and I thank each of you. I pray you will have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones.

I was recently notified by Rafiki Home Office that my support level is running a significant deficit. If you could prayerfully consider financially supporting my ministry with Rafiki, I would be very, very grateful.

To donate online:

  1. Go to www.rafikifoundation.org.
  2. Select “Support a Missionary” from the dropdown menu in the upper right.
  3. Find my photo and enter the amount that you would like to give. (You can make a one-time donation or a recurring donation.) Thank you!

To donate by check, you can send your check to the Rafiki Home Office at PO Box 1988, Eustis, FL 32727 with my name and missionary number (#167) in the memo line.

Please pray for:

  • All 250 Rafiki Day Students to have sponsors and be fully funded soon.
  • For generous giving to the Africa Expansion Campaign. Rafiki is entering a season of exponential growth. We anticipate the thousands that Rafiki is currently ministering to across our 10 countries will turn to tens of thousands. To meet these new opportunities, we are asking God for a 25% increase over Rafiki’s current annual budget which could increase Rafiki’s impact 10-fold.

Note : Rafiki is now able to accept non-cash gifts such as real estate or estate bequests. Contact Rafiki@RafikiFoundation.org for more information.

We praise God for His faithfulness and goodness. It is truly a blessing to see lives changed by His Word. Thank you for allowing me to continue to serve by your generosity.

May God bless you all.
