Wiedemann Nov 2018

And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come(Matthew 24:14).

Recently I had the opportunity to display information about Rafiki at a women’s breakfast. Trying to capture “Rafiki” on a tri-board was challenging. It was enjoyable using the old school approach. Seeing God’s Word at work transforming Africa for Christ reveals the majesty and wonder of God!

As we approach Thanksgiving, please celebrate with me the progress since my October newsletter.

Prayers answered

The closing on the house was painless! Thank you, Andrew, for your help!

The move to Tennessee was accomplished with a cheerful heart and under God’s safety.

Thank you, Bob, Molly, Seth, Bonnie, Phil, and Alex for packing the U-haul trailer and truck.

Thank you, Alex for driving the 400 miles! Alex is a former student from Southside Christian High School, who is now attending college. We hitched a trailer to his truck and he set off with my “stuff” winding through the mountains from North Carolina to Tennessee. Alex is a godly, wise, and trustworthy young man.

Thank you, Alex, Edie Jo, and Michael James for unpacking everything, dismantling one bed and setting up another.

Prayers in the process of being answered

Please pray that God will grant me wisdom as I study the curriculum and processes for the Teachers College.

I admit that I have not been able to study as much as I would like. The good news is that I will go to the Home Office from December 3-7 for intensive training. Please continue to pray for wisdom.

Please pray for the remainder of my funding to come in, and for me to wait patiently on the Lord.

Great news: I have 100% funding for year one! Thank you to everyone who has donated, pledged, and prayed! Year two funding is coming along. We hope that I can leave for Ghana in January 2019. Please continue to pray.

Reminders of how to partner with me in this delightful journey:

If you are able to give financially you can donate online through the new Rafiki website. The link below will take you directly to my page.

You can mail a check to the Rafiki Home Office with my name and missionary number (167) in the memo line, PO Box 1988; Eustis, FL 32727; or you can call the Rafiki Home Office to set up payment at (352) 483-9131.

Would you please spread the word to your family, friends, prayer groups, mission committees, and Sunday school classes? I would be honored to speak about the work of our Lord through Rafiki.

I will close with a picture of my newest blessing in Tanzania. Another of my daughters in Christ, Glory, was recently married.

I am eternally grateful for all of your support and prayers. Until next time…
