Kucko Nov 2018
“So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come” (Psalm 71:18).
This past month has been a busy and a fun month as well as a special one in which we all celebrated together. But first, I will share about the Scripture chosen this time. I have been reading through the Psalms recently and within a few days of my birthday, Psalm 71:18 came in view and as I read it, I said to myself, “Yes, Lord, these are my sentiments exactly.”
Much of the remainder of this letter will use photos to share some of the activities this month.
Emptying the dining hall
Deep scrubbing the two dining halls, willing workers and an overseer! Scrubbing the inside, and outside
Floors and windows
This is how to REALLY get the water out!
All tuckered out!
Village-wide celebration
Escort to my 80th birthday dinner and program
Cultural dress for celebration
Waiting for birthday pizza
Angel Choir providing dinner music along with our sparkling grape juice and cake
So, I give praise to the Lord for these years He has given me and allowed my being here. I give praise and many “Thank You” messages to all who have had a part in supporting me in so many ways.
Please be in prayer for the children here to more deeply realize and exhibit respect for others and diligence in their school work.
