“I do not cease to give thanks for you remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe” (Ephesians 1:16-19).

Merry Christmas!

There is a fresh new feeling at the Village, mingled with hand sanitizer and muffling masks. That feeling bubbles out in the morning when a class bursts into a rousing rendition of Joy to the World.

It splashes over us all as we hear the Early Childhood classes practicing Christmas poems for a virtual recitation.

H is for Holy

It soaks into our souls when we gather for evening advent devotions with the residents.

Evening devotions

As we write this, O Holy Night is playing, “A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices…” That is exactly what is pulsing in our hearts this Advent Season. Can you feel it too?

Happiness abounds

Hope

Hope for the pandemic to be over, hope for our students who have regained study habits and are discovering wisdom and truth as they study Biology and delve into the microscopic world of cells.

Hope for creating beauty in Art class and in Life Skills, as Senior 4 (grade 10) developed a landscaping plan and are now digging and planting to make it a reality.

Hope in a sovereign Lord that truly is in control of what appears to be chaos and confusion in the world today. May He wrap you in His presence this Christmas, enfolding you in His love and peace. Thank you for your prayers and support, allowing us to be here to watch God transforming souls. Have a blessed Christmas.
