Dear friends and family, 

In the past few months, I have been moving forward in my future ministry with The Rafiki Foundation. The Rafiki Foundation serves in ten different countries in Africa with five programs: Christian Classical Education, ChildCare, Widows, Rafiki Advanced Learning Institute, and Bible Study. Their mission is to train up Africans to transform Africa for Christ and I am now ready to share my role in this mission. 

The month of July proved to be abundant in blessings. After a month of traveling and completing two weeks of training at the Home Office in Eustis, Florida, I have received my assignment! I am excited to announce that I have been asked to serve as the Rafiki Institute of Music Dean and Music Coordinator at the Rafiki Village in Nairobi, Kenya. Not only
will I be working with future teachers in ways to incorporate music in their future classrooms, but I will also be directing the school music program while exploring opportunities with orchestra, choir, band, and private lessons. I will have a full schedule, but I am excited to begin. My anticipated departure date is September 30.

The day is fast approaching, and I am excited to begin work with my students in Kenya. My funding is currently at sixty percent and I am hoping to successfully raise the rest of the support before my departure. Please join me in prayer that the Lord would provide the remainder of my funds before the end of September.
