Eagleman Sep 2018

We are happy to introduce our newest team member—Asher Glenn Eagleman.

He was born on July 5 at 10 lbs 11oz. We were ecstatic to finally meet our son after waiting nine months and one week. He has been such a gift and we have thoroughly enjoyed every moment with our family and friends while in the United States. God truly opened all the right doors these past few months for us to get Asher’s birth certificate, passport, and visa. We were able to get all the right documents for Asher to fly internationally in record time, so thank you for all your prayers.

To say that Asher received a warm welcome to Liberia would be an understatement. Many of the staff, children, students and mamas had been eagerly awaiting our return back to Liberia, so when we finally were able to meet everyone there was plenty of singing and dancing. This boy is truly loved and Jeremy and I are so incredibly thankful. Over the next few weeks, we will be settling down and helping little man get over jet lag.

We have a lot of exciting things happening in the Rafiki Village, besides Asher’s arrival. We have our Visitation Program where all the children’s extended relatives come to visit and we host a program for them. It can be a very exciting time as well as a difficult time for those who still have no one to visit them. Pray that we can find kind and loving people to welcome our children as part of their families on visitation day so that the children can have someone to call family. You can also pray for the daily Bible study through Romans that we have with our staff and children. Pray that our time together may be rich and yield fruit in our lives and in the lives of our community. Our daily Bible Study with the children and staff is essential to spreading God’s truth.

Again, we are incredibly thankful for all of our friends and family who have loved and supported us so well and welcomed our son. We are excited for all the adventures that God has planned for our family of three.

With Love,

Brittany and Jeremy Eagleman
