Dear friends and family,

Yes, I am going to Ethiopia for six months to serve as a missionary as the Childcare Administrator working closely with a Village Administrator. I will be overseeing the care of over fifty orphans and working with Rafiki Mothers that care for them in cottages of 8 to 10 children. I will also be working with widows with care and support, as they make items that are sold to Rafiki so these ladies will have income to support themselves.

Through the Rafiki Foundation, I believe that I have been throughly trained with a missionary course online for eight weeks by reading a variety of books after attending orientation. I just survived a two-week intense training at the Rafiki location in Eustis, Florida. Eleven missionaries will be departing to ten Rafiki Villages within the next six months.

I am humbled and excited to make this new journey as the Lord has called me to do. To those that have indicated that they are supporting me with lots of prayer and by tax-free donations, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have stepped out in faith and continue for God’s provision for the rest.
