Utilize your skills, expand your knowledge, and deepen your love for God and his people in a unique way with the Rafiki Foundation!
The Rafiki Foundation offers scholarships for classical Christian educators and administrators for short-term mission trips.
Qualified teachers/administrators can receive a partial or even a full scholarship for a two-week to three-month mission trip. This can also be extended to graduate students in classical Christian programs. Experience another culture while you serve God’s people in Africa!
The Rafiki Foundation has built ten Rafiki Villages in African countries. Each Village is home to resident orphans, a Prek-12 classical Christian school for children in need, and a teacher training college. In addition, Rafiki partners with 25 African church denominations to provide them with theologically sound teaching materials and study Bibles. Rafiki has 40 years of experience training and sending missionaries short- and long-term to Africa.
Educators will be given opportunities such as:
- working with African students at the teacher training college
- teaching classes in the Rafiki classical Christian School
- training Rafiki African teachers in professional development
- collaborating with local Christian universities
Rafiki’s short-term mission trips serve to:
- provide classical Christian educators with a short-term mission experience
- grow applicants' love for God's people around the world
- connect classical Christian schools and teachers in the USA with schools and churches in Africa
- clarify one’s calling in life
Rafiki provides:
- partial or full scholarships for qualified applicants
- online Zoom training
- assistance with ticketing and visas
- onsite missionary and national staff guidance and partnership
- housing and meals at the Rafiki Village
