Anica Pederson

Anica is the daughter of long-time Rafiki Missionaries David and Julie Pederson. Since age three, she spent her childhood growing up in Rafiki Villages. This gave Anica the opportunity to see firsthand the growth, challenges, and joy of living and working at a Rafiki Village and to witness the miraculous and mysterious ways God is working through Rafiki.

While visiting her parents at the Rafiki Village Kenya where they are currently serving, Anica agreed to stay and serve for a year as a long-term missionary. She assisted with the Widows Program by being the point of contact with the widows group from our partner church and helping them with new product ideas. Anica also developed a more substantial after-school program for the residents, as well as serving as a librarian and teaching beginner French at the school. She has also served in the Widows Programs, libraries, and after-school programs at the Rafiki Villages Tanzania and Ethiopia.

Anica recently moved to the Rafiki Village Ghana where she serves in the Widows Program and assists in the school.
