My Name is
Joe
Joe
Joe was placed in the care of an uncle after his mother and father died in 2010. Though his uncle tried, he could not provide for Joe’s basic needs or his education. He asked the Rafiki Foundation for help and Joe arrived at the Rafiki Village Liberia in 2012. Joe was a very quiet child who enjoyed reading books. He also proved to be a very smart young man who worked hard in school. He is thankful for the gift of education, and he especially enjoys studying chemistry. Joe works hard to train both his mind and his body so that he can use the skills God has given him to the best of his ability. He is thankful for God’s love and provision, and he reflects on the many times he has seen God at work in the Village. Joe prays that God will use him as a spiritual leader to others and that he will understand and have compassion for his younger Rafiki siblings.
