Innocent
Both of Innocent's parents are deceased. Soon after his mother's death, Innocent was diagnosed with tuberculosis and began treatment. Social welfare services was concerned about his health and contacted the Rafiki Foundation for help. Innocent arrived at the Rafiki Village Malawi in 2009 and adjusted well to his new environment. He received treatment for tuberculosis, and his health rapidly improved! Innocent is now a bright student. He often participates in class discussions and always has an idea to share. Innocent understands that Jesus died for all his sins, and He knows that Jesus is the light of the world.
