Deogloriosio

Deo’s father passed away before he was born, and his mother died soon after giving birth. Deo’s grandmother cared for him for the next four years, but she struggled to provide for his basic needs and reached out for aid. Social welfare referred him to the Rafiki Foundation, and he arrived at the Village in Uganda in 2006. Deo enjoys studying science, art, and mathematics at the Rafiki School. He is creative and spends time making pottery, drawing maps, designing art pieces, and using the microscope. He also enjoys cleaning because it displays God’s beauty and goodness. Deo’s favorite part of each day is morning devotions. He is caring and strives to show God’s love to others by counseling and guiding younger students. Deo prays that he will maintain good leadership skills, grow in love, and exercise humility and self-control.
