My Name is
David
David
David’s mother died in 2007, and his father died in 2008 after a short illness. David lived in the care of his uncle for a time, but his uncle struggled to provide for his needs. Social welfare contacted the Rafiki Foundation about David’s care, and he arrived at the Rafiki Village Ghana in 2010. He adjusted well to his new home and quickly began to thrive. David loves to laugh and often narrates imaginative stories to his friends and teachers in the Village. He also loves to cook and hopes to learn the art of basket weaving. He strives to care for his friends and seeks opportunities to serve them. David prays that he will grow in his love for God and the Word and that he will be respectful toward authority.
