My Name is
Dan
Dan
After Dan’s parents died when he was a small child, his elderly uncle took him in. However, his uncle cared for several other orphans and could not provide the care required for one so young. Social welfare requested he be placed at the Rafiki Village Uganda and Dan arrived in 2005 just in time to celebrate his birthday with his new family. Dan enjoys music and sports and strives to excel academically. He seeks to show others God’s love by looking for opportunities to serve and hopes to serve his country as a software engineer once he graduates. Dan prays that he will always be kind and that his trust in God will grow stronger daily.
