Dagim
Dagim's mother died shortly after his birth. A generous woman in Mojo found him in a nearby village and brought him into her home to care for him. When she found him, he was sleeping outside with the animals. This caretaker heard about the Rafiki Foundation through a teacher. Dagim was then approved by social welfare services and arrived at the Rafiki Village Ethiopia in 2009. He soon proved to be a good student who is quick to learn and has a good sense of humor. He continues to grow in faith, and he knows that God is with him every day. His favorite Scripture verse is Psalm 111:7, and his favorite hymn is "How Firm a Foundation" because it encourages him to trust the Lord in the midst of trial.
