My Name is
Wesen

Wesen
Wesen's father died in 2009, and his mother abandoned him and his brother, Abraham, eighteen months later. The boys' older sister struggled to care for them and sought help. Wesen and his brother arrived at the Rafiki Village Ethiopia in 2011. The pair transitioned well, and their joy and eagerness has continued to increase since they arrived at the village. Wesen is a humble young man who desires to know God deeply. He has the ability to graciously correct the younger boys in a loving manner, and he is a role model in the Village. Wesen's favorite Bible verse is Ecclesiastes 3:1–8 because it teaches him that there is a time for everything under heaven.
