My Name is
Miriam

Miriam
Miriam was found at a local market in the Machakos district of Kenya. She was then placed in a babies’ home, and no one came to check on her or claim her. Social services recommended that she be placed in a more permanent setting and referred her to the Rafiki Village Kenya; she arrived in 2005. Miriam soon proved to be a self-motivated, disciplined student. She cooperates well with others and is actively engaged in class. She enjoys soccer and volleyball, and she enthusiastically strives to reach her full potential. She has learned through the Rafiki Bible Study that Jesus is the founder and perfecter of her faith. She strives to pursue hope, faith, and love.
