My Name is
Gelane

Gelane
Gelane’s parents died two years apart from one another. She then began living with her impoverished grandmother who, though she tried, could not care for Galane's basic needs. Gelane arrived at the Rafiki Village Ethiopia in 2010 in great need of nutrition and care, and she soon benefited from the quality care in the Village. Now, she often advises young girls in her cottage, particularly in issues surrounding the Scriptures. She hopes to proclaim the Bible to unbelieving people someday. Gelane's favorite Bible passage is Proverbs 2:6–8 because it reminds her that God provides, protects, and gives us exactly what we need.
