My Name is
Gabriel

Gabriel
Gabriel's father abandoned the family and his mother did not recover from the C-section she had when he was born. Since that time he lived with different relatives but ended up with his uncle who lives in a home where he serves as a security guard. He is very poor and has no means to send Gabriel to school. At the home visit Gabriel was wearing sandals that were too small and his clothing was worn and tattered. But it is obvious he is a very smart boy, he has never attended school but can identify the alphabet, numbers, and colors. Gabriel arrived at the Rafiki Village Liberia and is happily adjusting to his new home and life. Gabriel loves math because he loves his teacher, and he believes that you will get a good job when you know math well. He believes that when you do your best in school, then you will become a leader. He hopes to be a soccer player when he grows up.
