My Name is
Felistas
Felistas
Felistas’ mother died shortly after giving birth to her sister, Gracious, and their father abandoned them. They were placed in the care of their elderly grandmother who was already caring for five children at the time. She had very little means of support and sought help from the Rafiki Foundation. Felistas and her sister arrived at the Rafiki Village Zambia in September 2008. Felistas enjoys reading and writing in her journal. She believes Jesus is the true Son of God, her Redeemer. She has learned from God's Word that she should live in a Christ-like way. The Bible has taught her to follow Jesus and have faith in Him. Felistas understands that God expects her to obey Him—to read and do what His Word says.
