My Name is
Emmanuel

Emmanuel
Emmanuel’s mother died in 2005, and his father died in 2006. He then lived with his grandmother, aunt, and brothers, Richard and Shadreck. The boys' aunt sold vegetables to provide for the family, but the children were not being cared for adequately and there was no money available for them to attend school. Social welfare recommended Emmanuel and his brothers be placed in the Rafiki Village in Zambia, and they arrived in 2008. Emmanuel believes Jesus is the Savior and the Son of God. He has learned that God wants him to live like Jesus: to listen, obey, trust, and have faith in Him. Emmanuel is creative and forgiving, and he is learning endurance. He enjoys reading and creating works of art.
