My Name is
Champ

Champ
Champ's mother abandoned him, and his father remains unknown. He and his brothers were placed in the care of an elderly woman for a time. In 2011, medical complications made it impossible for her to care for them any longer. The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare asked the Rafiki Foundation to help, and the boys arrived at the Rafiki Village Liberia in 2011. Champ enjoys studying science because he likes to learn about God's creation. He hopes to be a pastor when he grows up. He wants to preach God's Word in order to help others. Champ is a diligent worker, and he seeks to do his best in school. Champ's favorite hymn is "God Will Take Care of You" because it reminds him that wherever he goes, God will take care of him.
