My Name is
Adonay

Adonay
Adonay's mother tried to abandon him on the street in the Somali Region, but a man from the health station intervened and gave her some money to travel home. She then gave Adonay to his grandmother when he was less than two months old. His grandmother sold cooked maize and clothes to gain a small income. However, she could not support him, so she sought help from the Rafiki Foundation. Adonay arrived at the Rafiki Village Ethiopia, joining his half-sister Meklit, in 2012. She was overjoyed to see her little brother. Now, Adonay enjoys studying Scripture and praying. Adonay's favorite Bible verse is 2 Thessalonians 3:13 because it encourages him not to give up in doing good. He loves the hymn "To God Be the Glory" because it reminds him that God gave us His Son.
