Charity Navigator

As of March 2020, the Rafiki Foundation received its fifth consecutive 4-star rating with Charity Navigator. Charity Navigator evaluates charities and organizations for financial accountability and transparency, giving donors peace of mind. They estimate their company influenced around $10 billion in charitable donations in 2019.

Charity Navigator’s four-star rating is a great achievement, and Rafiki is humbled to receive this honor. According to their data, only 15% of the charities they evaluate have received at least five consecutive 4-star evaluations. A four-star rating indicates that an organization adheres to financial best practices and pursues its goals in a financially responsible way.

Rafiki is pleased that our donors can feel confident when partnering with us in the work we do in Africa. All donations made to a fund are used for that fund only. We will continue to strive for excellence and integrity as we seek to train Africans to transform Africa for Christ.
