Yigerem
In 2001, Yigerem's parents died and his uncle began caring for him. Though he tried, Yigerem's uncle could not provide for his basic needs and reached out to Rafiki. Yigerem arrived at the Rafiki Village in 2010. Yigerem soon proved to be a happy young man who enjoys a good laugh. He loves to read God's Word and write Scripture verses in his notebook. Yigerem's favorite Bible passages are Psalm 46 and Psalm 91 because they remind him that God is our fortress and refuge.

Grace's parents died within one year of each other, and she was then put in the care of a maternal aunt.
