My Name is
Yeabsira
Yeabsira
Not much is known about Yeabsira’s life before he arrived at the Rafiki Village Ethiopia. He was abandoned by his dying mother. He was first left with a family on the outskirts of Mojo, Ethiopia. When the family could no longer care for him, he had no choice but to live on the streets. Pastors and families from two local churches helped him on occasion and notified the Rafiki Foundation about his situation. He arrived at the Village in 2012. Yeabsira is now a leader, and he seeks to understand the Word of God. His favorite hymn is "Nothing But the Blood" because it tells him that Jesus has completed salvation for him. Yeabsira prays often for his sponsors and others who God provides for his care and education.
