My Name is

Child Village: Uganda
Child ID: CB013
Willson was found at the gate of a babies' home by an unknown person who was walking past the home. After an investigation of the situation, a social welfare officer gave approval for Willson to move to the Rafiki Village Uganda. He now enjoys a new life at the Rafiki village. Willson’s favorite school subject is math “because it is an easy subject but needs a lot of concentration.” Willson brightens up whenever he sees numbers, so math and physics are naturally his favorite subjects. He is working hard to keep up with chemistry and biology and finds group work a profitable way to master these two subjects. Willson and his schoolmates visited the Nderere Cultural Centre and learned a lot about Ugandan cultures, dances, traditions, and musical instruments. In a recent biology lab, he was fascinated when he successfully tested starch from a leaf using iodine. In his history classes, he read about both famous and corrupt rulers and their empires and how their governance affected their nations.
