My Name is
Uwase
Uwase
Uwase’s parents died in 2010. After their deaths, Uwase’s grandmother heard about Rafiki and was interested in sending Uwase to the Rafiki Village Rwanda so she could have a better life. Uwase was approved and arrived at the Rafiki Village Rwanda in April 2012. She is an active, inquisitive young woman with much potential. Due to developments in Rwanda, Uwase is living off-site from the Village. We are, however, still supporting her through a full school scholarship and two meals daily. From the Rafiki Bible Study, Uwase has learned that Christians should be at peace.
