My Name is
Thomas

Thomas
Before arriving at the Rafiki Village Malawi, Thomas and sister, Gloria, lived with their impoverished grandmother and the six other children she was caring for. Though she tried, she could not properly care for the children. Social welfare services asked Rafiki to take Thomas and his sister in. The siblings arrived at the Village in 2007. Now, Thomas is frequently called upon to help organize special activities or mentor younger boys who are struggling with neatness or behavior in the Village. Thomas knows that Jesus is near to him; he does not need to be afraid. He desires to grow in his faith, to die to sin, and to live in union with Christ.
