Surafel
Surafel and his sister, Fortuna, where left in the care of an uncle after their mother and father died. Their uncle struggled to care for the children and asked the Rafiki Foundation for help. Fortuna and Surafel arrived at the Rafiki Village Ethiopia in 2010. They quickly adjusted to the new environment and their Rafiki family. Surafel now enjoys singing hymns during family devotions. His favorite Scripture verse is Colossians 4:18. He enjoys reading Colossians because it reminds him that he is blessed. Surafel's favorite song is "Amazing Grace" because it reminds him of God's grace.
