Rose

Child Village: Tanzania
Child ID: CH051
Rose was brought to a children's home in Moshi, Tanzania in 2008 by a pastor from a local church. A woman had left the child with him and ran away. The children's home contacted the Rafiki Foundation in hopes of providing a more permanent home and a quality education. Rose came home to the Rafiki Village in Tanzania in 2012. Rose is a sweet girl who has to put forth much effort to do well in school. Rose did very well on her spelling last term with a perfect 100% score! This did require much practice. Rose also did well in most of her subjects, but needs to put a bit more effort into reading. Rose shows that when she works hard, her grades reflect that work. Rose needs to read, read, read this term to improve her reading comprehension. Moving up a grade always means a bit more effort. Rose did well on her Grade 4 national exam, and with that bit of extra effort, she can be an excellent student.
