My Name is
Richard

Richard
Richard’s mother died in 2005, and his father died in 2006. He then lived with his grandmother, aunt, and brothers, Emmanuel and Shadreck. The boys' aunt sold vegetables to provide for the family, but the children were not being cared for adequately and there was no money available for them to attend school. Social welfare recommended Emmanuel and his brothers be placed in the Rafiki Village Zambia, and they arrived in 2008. Richard enjoys learning about poetry. He understands that his education is not only going to benefit himself but also his family, community, and country. Richard is conversational, and he has a quick mind and an enjoyable sense of humor. He is considering a future in business, with electronics and computers.
