My Name is
Priscilla
Priscilla
Priscilla and her sister, Erica, are double orphans. After the death of their parents, they lived with their impoverished, widowed grandmother. Though she tried, the girls' grandmother could not properly care for them. Priscilla arrived with her sister at the Rafiki Village Ghana in October 2009. She soon benefited from the quality care, nutritious food, and loving environment at the Village. Priscilla's faith has grown through her prayer life. She knows that God hears her prayers and is pleased to answer them in his perfect timing. Through studying the Psalms, Priscilla has been reminded that help comes from the Lord, so she doesn't need to be worried. She knows that God has good plans for her. Her favorite hymn is "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" because it teaches her that we are privileged to talk to God directly.
