My Name is

Child Village: Uganda
Child ID: CB035
When Peace’s father died of a sickness and her mother was admitted to the hospital with the same disease, her grandmother was put in charge of Peace and her two sisters. Her grandmother had other orphaned children she was caring for and wanted a bright future for the three sisters. Peace's grandmother arrived at the Social Welfare office and requested help for the girls. Peace and her sisters, Christina and Tendo, arrived at Rafiki Village Uganda in September 2005. She now enjoys life at the Rafiki village. Peace's favorite subject is history because she is doing well in it. She also enjoys geography. She is getting help for physics, chemistry, biology, and math. Peace and her classmates embarked on a field trip to the Masese fish landing site to experience the fishing industry and how it impacts the livelihood of many Ugandans. She plays the flute in the Rafiki Youth Orchestra and appreciates the many opportunities to play both at and outside of the Rafiki village. Music teaches her how to be disciplined and be a team player.
DOB: Dec 9, 2000
