Rafiki Foundation  |  Training Africans to Transform Africa for Christ

My Name is

Child Village: Uganda
Child ID: CB016
Molly was abandoned at the age of eight months and brought to a local police station in September 2003. She was then sent to a babies' home for temporary care before being permanently placed with Rafiki Village Uganda in December 2003. At the time, her new Rafiki brothers were delighted to have their first baby sister in their home! Now, Molly’s favorite school subject is math “because it is the language in which God has written the universe.” Her favorite hymn is “I Will Sing the Wondrous Story.” Molly's favorite and best subject is biology. She enjoyed learning about the classification of living things and is curious about the functions of the human body. She understands that she is fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God. Molly seeks to improve in English, literature, and Luganda. She was part of a group that recited a Luganda poem and was thankful for the opportunity to practice the native language. Molly likes art, especially handcrafts. She has played with clay and has modeled objects out of paper, and she is working on creating sculptures.
