Michael

Child Village: Kenya
Child ID: CD084
Michael’s mother abandoned him, and his father is unknown. He and his two siblings, Naomi and John, had been in the care of their blind grandmother who lives in a one room mud house before coming to the Rafiki Village. His grandmother entirely depended on well-wishers for food and other basic necessities. Michael and his two siblings, Naomi and John, arrived at the Rafiki Village Kenya in November 2009. When the year began, Michael was unable to complete his assignments without prompted follow-up. However, now he has started to complete his work. He has started to love Mathematics and Kiswahili, and he is the Science Team messenger because of his good work! He still struggles with difficult problems that include multi-step solutions. He is quiet and honest, and he regularly volunteers. He has matured both academically and socially this year.
DOB: Mar 23, 2006
