My Name is

Michael

Michael

Child Village: Liberia
Child ID: CG007
Michael was removed along with his sister Keba from their caretaker. The mother has had no contact with the children since abandoning them to this woman. The whereabouts of their father is unknown and no one is sure if they have the same father. The Liberian National Police removed these children from the woman and placed her in jail for child abuse. The children were brought to the THINK home, a local orphanage in Monrovia. The Liberian National Police, Women’s and Children’s Protection Unit have confirmed that these children will not be returned to the caregiver. THINK home and the Ministry recommend placement with the Rafiki Foundation. Both children are now flourishing at their new home at the Rafiki Village Liberia. Mike enjoys his English class because he believes that it will help him in his future career. Mike has three plans for his future: Plan A is to be a psychologist, Plan B is to be a theologian, and Plan C is to be a sociologist. He believes that education the passport to one's future.
