My Name is
Meseret
Meseret
Social Welfare approached the Rafiki Foundation regarding Meseret's care. She is a double orphan: both of her parents died of an illness. Her maternal aunt was her primary caregiver, but she abandoned Meseret and gave her to a previous employer. Meseret was approved by the Rafiki Foundation and arrived at the Village in 2014. Now, Meseret finds the Bible captivating. She reads the Bible often with other Rafiki girls. Her favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:7–9 because it helps her know that God wants her to obey His Word.
