My Name is
Martey
Martey
Martey and his sisters, Selom and Francesca, were often left unattended for days at a time by their mentally ill mother. Social welfare services intervened, and the children were removed from their unhealthy situation. Martey and his sisters arrived at the Rafiki Village Ghana in 2003 and soon benefited from the nutritious food, quality care, and loving environment at the Village. Martey's mother gave birth to another boy, Emmanuel, in 2004, and he arrived at the Village in 2009. Martey seeks to be wise during difficult times. He is thankful for the Lord's faithfulness and His great promises. Martey is confident that nothing will separate Him from God's love.
