My Name is

Lydia

Lydia

Child Village: Nigeria
Child ID: CC020
Lydia was orphaned when her mother died in 2003. Her father had passed away two years earlier. Lydia and her young brother Job lived with their elderly grandmother, who was no longer able to provide care for the two young children. An aunt referred them to Rafiki and they came to live at the Village in 2003. Today, Lydia is in her third year at Bingham University. She is depending on God to carry her into her fourth year in September. She is learning a lot and has gotten good grades—seven A's and one B. In creative writing class, she is learning to write film scripts. She says it is a fun class. She is also taking syntax, semantics, and phonology classes.
DOB: Jun 14, 1998
